Wildcats Finish Season 22-11

 LEXINGTON, Ky. – Fourth-seeded Kentucky rallied from a 19-point second half deficit to within one point of the lead, but the Wildcats could not overcome fifth-seeded Ohio State’s advantage, as the Buckeyes won 82-68 on Sunday afternoon at Memorial Coliseum.

2017 NCAAA Division I Women’s Basketball Basketball Championship – First Round
Kentucky vs. Belmont
March 17, 2017 – Memorial Coliseum – Lexington, Kentucky
 
The Lady Cats came into the first round of the NCAA with a 21-10 season record and the reward of a home court advantage to take on the (27-5) Lady Bruins of Belmont.
After a third straight loss to powerhouse South Carolina, the Cats were ready for redemption. In their sites was breaking Belmont ’s 21-game winning streak. It would prove to be difficult.

Wildcats drop 73-71 overtime decision to Arizona State

LEXINGTON, Ky. – Sophomore guard Maci Morris scored a career-high 29 points, but it wasn’t enough to push the No. 15 Kentucky women’s basketball team past No. 23 Arizona State as the Sun Devils pulled out a 73-71 win in overtime at Rupp Arena.
