UofL Basketball – Brian Bowen Joins UofL Basketball Team

LOUISVILLE, Ky. ” Brian Bowen II, a 6-7, 195-pound combo guard/forward who won a national championship last season at La Lumiere School in La Porte, Ind., has signed a financial aid agreement to continue his basketball playing career at the University of Louisville.  He has enrolled at UofL and plans to be on campus for the current summer session. Michigan’s shooting performance against Oklahoma State in the second half of their 92 – 91 victory Friday was the talk of the first round of the NCAA tournament.  The Wolverines shot an impressive 16 – 25 (64%) from the field, including 11 – 15 (73.3%) from 3-point range.  They were not to be outdone in their second round matchup against the No. 2 seed Louisville Cardinals. Louisville tops Notre Dame to finish 24-7

In a typical Louisville versus Notre Dame basketball game one knows they will see a back-and-forth affair with hard-nosed defense.  The possibility of overtime (nine in the series) is always a possibility.  Saturday’s game was no different, but it was Louisville who came out on top 71 – 64. No. 8 North Carolina Handles No. 7 Louisville 74 – 63
