UK Athletics Announces Hall of Fame Class of 2017

LEXINGTON, Ky. – The University of Kentucky Athletics Hall of Fame Class of 2017 has been announced, with Randall Cobb (football), Collin Cowgill (baseball), Ralph Hacker (broadcaster), Sherry Hoover Bordner (cross country/indoor track/outdoor track), Sarah Rumely (volleyball) and John Wall (men’s basketball) set to be inducted during Hall of Fame Weekend, Sept. 22-23, in conjunction with the football home game vs. Florida. NASCAR – Kyle Busch dominance of Kentucky Speedway ends, Martin Truex Jr. wins the Quaker State 400

The race to the chase continued today at Kentucky Motor Speedway in Sparta, Kentucky. The seventh annual Quaker State 400 was held today, bringing in large crowds and some of the best drivers in modern day racing.  The race marked driver Dale Earnhardt JR. last time driving in Kentucky as it was announced earlier in the year that he was retiring from competitive racing at the end of the racing season.

CAIRO, EGYPT (July 9, 2017) — Hitting 5-of-8 3s in the game’s opening quarter, and making 12-of-19 3s for the game, the USA Men’s U19 World Cup Team (6-1) quickly distanced itself from Spain (5-2) and sprinted on to a 96-72 victory in the bronze medal game of the 2017 FIBA U19 World Cup on Sunday in Cairo, Egypt.
