STARKVILLE, Miss. – A three-run first inning wasn’t enough to hold off a home run barrage by the reigning Southeastern Conference Player of the Week as No. 8 Kentucky fell 10-6 to No. 19 Mississippi State in front of 13,691 fans at Dudy Noble Field, the eighth-largest on-campus attendance in NCAA history. Forward from Little Washington, North Carolina will not hire an agent

LEXINGTON, Ky. – Kentucky men basketball freshman forward Bam Adebayo announced Wednesday that he plans to submit his name for the 2017 NBA Draft but will not hire an agent. So long as Adebayo does not hire an agent, he will have until May 24 (10 days after the NBA Draft Combine) to make a final decision as to whether he wishes to remain in the draft or return to Kentucky. Steve Miller took in all the action for BSN. The Kentucky Wildcats were represented by this years incoming freshman.  Jarred Vanderbilt, Quade Greene, PJ Washington and Nicholas Richards will all make their home in Lexington next season. Memphis, Tennessee

The South Regional Championship game in Memphis, Tennessee featured 2 of the most successful teams in College Basketball history. Kentucky and North Carolina are 2 of the biggest name programs in College Hoops. North Carolina is the #1 seed in the South Region with a record of 30 Wins and 7 losses.  UNC is on a current 3 game win streak.   UNC Entered today’s game against the Cats with a big win over Texas Southern.

March 26, 2017 – Ty Back – Memphis, TN

The Kentucky Wildcats season ended Sunday night at the hands of the North Carolina Tarheels. Carolina led for all but 3:57 of the game but in the last 50 seconds, Kentucky erased a 7 point deficit to tie the game at 73 with only nine seconds to play.  Malik Monk rose up from the top of the key, with two defenders in his face, to drill an off balance three to tie the game.
