 COLUMBIA, S.C. – Kentucky broke a tie with three runs in the eighth inning and Logan Salow had a career-high 10 strikeouts  in relief as the No. 6 Wildcats defeated No. 21 South Carolina, 9-4, on a hot Saturday afternoon at Founders Park. All three seniors contribute in 7-2 win over Aggies
LEXINGTON, Ky. – The No. 18 Kentucky softball team celebrated its annual Senior Day with a bang on Saturday afternoon, knocking off the No. 4 Texas A&M Aggies 7-2 to even the series at a game each. All three seniors had major contributions to the game with pitcher Shannon Smith getting the start in the circle, Meagan Prince coming on in relief to get the win and Breanne Ray going 1-for-2 with three RBI and a walk. LEXINGTON, Ky. – The No. 18 Kentucky softball team fell behind 4-0 in the second inning to No. 4 Texas A&M on Friday night, but fought back to load the bases in the bottom of the seventh to put the game-tying run in scoring position – but lost 4-2 in the series opener at John Cropp Stadium. LEXINGTON, Ky. – Former Kentucky men’s basketball players Dakari Johnson and Alex Poythress were tabbed All-NBA Development League Players on Tuesday.
