Pro Baseball – Legends announce 2016 schedule

Legends Logo  (WHITAKER BANK BALLPARK, Lexington, Ky.)   The Lexington Legends will open the 2016 season Thursday, April 7 at Whitaker Bank Ballpark against the Lakewood BlueClaws.  The 2016 season will also mark the return of the South Atlantic League All-Star game to Lexington for the first time since 2003.  The All-Star game is scheduled for Tuesday, June 21.

Kentucky News – ATTORNEY GENERAL CONWAY ANNOUNCES MULTISTATE CHILD PORNOGRAPHY INDICTMENT OF LOUISVILLE MAN

FRANKFORT, Ky. College Football – Louisville Rolls Over Samford, 45 – 3

Louisville fans can finally exhale after the Cardinals picked up their first win of the season in convincing fashion over the Samford Bulldogs.

The game was never in doubt as Louisville took advantage of two early Samford turnovers and took an early 14 – 0 lead.  Freshman quarterback, Lamar Jackson, got the start for the Cardinals showed off his ability to run.  Jackson scored the first two touchdowns on a 14 yard and a 13 yard run.  He would go on to rush for a school-record 184 yards.  Continue reading College Football – Louisville Rolls Over Samford, 45 – 3

College Basketball – Cards’ Oct. 3 Red-White Basketball Scrimmage Set for 4:30 p.m. Start

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The first public Red-White intrasquad scrimmage for the University of Louisville men’s basketball team on Oct. 3 will start at 4:30 p.m. in the KFC Yum! Center.  UofL’s football team plays at NC State at 12:30 p.m. earlier that day.
