Rupp Arena- The University of Kentucky and the Florida Gators took the court for tonight’s game. The game is a battle of SEC EAST opponents and has become one of the better rivalries in all the country. The game is featured as the ESPN College Game Day, Game of the Week. The College Game Day Crew consisting of Analysts, Jay Williams, Jay Bilas, Seth Greenberg and is hosted by Reece Davis. Davis also hosts ESPN’s College Football Gameday. The game is Broadcasted by Jay Bilas and Dan Shulman, two of the great broadcasters in the sport. After yet another exciting week in the Southeastern Conference some teams might have found their mojo while others simply have not. Heading into this past week in the SEC several questions had been raised regarding some of the teams, yet in typical SEC basketball fever mayhem happened throughout the week and into the weekend to cause yet another rift in the SEC basketball rankings. Lexington, KY – ESPN’s College Game Day crew was in town covering College Game Day. Today’s game features the University of Kentucky Wildcats hosting the Florida Gators in a prime time game at 8:15 pm. The game is considered the premier Basketball game of the day, and will draw a lot of national media attention. Game day is hosted by ESPN analysts Seth Greenberg, Jay Williams, Jay Bilas and Host Reece Davis. Game day originated in 2005 and Rupp Arena has been featured as the host location seven different times during the course of the event.

Nashville: The young Wildcats hold off a feisty veteran Commodore squad on the road. The Cats, who have lacked an identity all year, might have just found their groove with a massive road win in a very hostile environment at Vanderbilt. Still many questions remain for the young Wildcats, especially considering Jarred Vanderbilt’s return. Cal, when asked about the timetable for his first appearance this year, answered abruptly, “I didn’t know if Jarred was going to play before the game, I’m just acting like he’s not here and if he is, he is. The Texas A&M Aggies came to Rupp Arena looking to break a three-game losing streak to the Kentucky Wildcats. The Cats/Aggies matchup has become one of the most competitive matchups in the league. Four of the last seven games between the two teams have went into overtime. Texas A&M have struggled as of late opening the SEC season 0-3 but they haven’t had their full team on the court for some time. When asked which A&M to prepare for, Kentucky Assistant Joel Justus stated “ I think you have to prepare for all of them.” Tonight the Wildcats often looked unprepared but were still able to pull out the win.
